Shine Through

Tis light makes color visible; at night
Red, green and russet vanish from thy sight.
So too the light by darkness is made known.
All hid things by their contraries are shown.

Indeed without the thorn, there would be no rose. Without the battle there would be no victory. Without experiencing the hardships, we would not build endurance. Without going through the disappointments of life,we would not know the Lord's unspeakable joy. Without His death, we would not have known the depth of His great love for us. Something to think about next time you are going through a hard time.
