Families are like fudge... mostly sweet with a few nuts. Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.

Home Offensive Idea!

Here is one practical idea we did this week in bringing the Offensive to the children and helping them participate in it:
" Ask those AMs or friends who spend time in your Home if they would like to teach the children a class about their country, job, language, etc. Or they could just talk with the children and answer their questions."
"Teaching the children about cultures, languages, mentalities, religions, walks of life, and codes of conduct in each of these circles is one of the greatest educations you could give them."
"The training they receive through the Offensive will enhance every aspect of their lives"
Uday(AM) gave the kids a class all about India, showed them pictures of him and the work there and answered any questions they had on India. It was very helpful and informative for the kids in their knowledge of the country and for when they do meet or come across people of that nationality/culture in their witnessing. Thanks Uday for teaching us! After the class, the kids then quoted their Bible chapters they had memorized to him.

Our Property

Our property is so beautiful. TYJ! There is so much space for the kids to run around and play, it's perfect. The view during the seasonal changes is just beautiful and I couldn't miss taking a few shots of this year's change.

Family Diary

Recently my boys and I have started what we call "Family Diary". It's pretty fun and it consists of the boys telling me their thoughts of the day and what they remembered of it while I type it down--their words, thoughts and expressions exact. Some evenings they get really into it and want to keep going on and on especially after an extra fun or busy day. I really enjoy doing it with them and it's been fun to hear different people's perspective and thoughts of the exact same day. I'm thinking "This will be fun to read over and remember ten years or more from now not only for me, but for them as well." Anyway, let's see what tomorrow brings!

To My Home--Thanks!

Thanks again to my dear Home who worked it out for me (and a few others) to attend the training seminars that happened last month. They willingly stayed by the stuff to keep our home fires burning and I am truly thankful to them for all their hard work and love for us in this way! TY guys so much--you are wonderful teammates that I am so proud to be working alongside with!
